The HT66F4390 includes an ISO7816-3 interface and meets the EMV Contact Level 1 certification
Following the previous release of its HT66F4360/HT66F4370 devices, Holtek has released its new Smart Card Reader Flash MCU, the HT66F4390. The HT66F4390 has a Flash Memory capacity of 64Kx16 and is dedicated for smart card reader products, such as USB card readers and Bluetooth card readers etc.
Since the HT66F4390 includes an ISO7816-3 interface and includes an integrated DC/DC converter and LDO, the device is able to support card voltages of A, B and C class. The ISO7816-3 interface meets the EMV Contact Level 1 certification. In addition, the device integrates various serial interfaces, such as a Full-Speed USB interface, dual UART communication interfaces, dual SPI and an I2C interfaces etc. These flexible interfaces provide users with the ability for easy connection to computer or mobile devices using Bluetooth, thus allowing the device to be used in a wide range of Bank Card Readers and ID Verification Card Readers. The device also supports ISP and IAP online firmware update program functions which can help users to rapidly and efficiently develop and update their smart card reader products.
