Holtek Releases a New Range Of PIR Modules

The HT7M21x6 PIR Module Series Come Complete with PIR Sensor, Fresnel Lens and DSP Sense Algorithms

Holtek have released a new range of PIR Modules, the HT7M21x6 series. This new series combines a wide range of PIR functions into a single module. These PIR modules come complete with a fully integrate PIR sensor, Fresnel lens, DSP algorithms and other features. The modules are designed for low-power applications and include a I²C communication interface as well as DSP algorithms to enhance the PIR sensor reliability. These PIR Modules are suitable for use in applications such as security systems, automatic doors, intelligent lighting, garden lights, guest reception monitors, etc.

The HT7M21x6 Series have an operating voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V. A low current sleep function is also available to minimize current in standby operation. An I²C interface is included for connection to a microcontroller system, as well as standard I/O interfaces. The modules also include an integrated temperature sensor, an adjustable sensing sensitivity function, as well as fast warm-up time for fast system activation.

The HT7M21x6 series include the HT7M2126, HT7M2136, HT7M2156 and HT7M2176 devices. The devices can be selected according to their different horizontal and vertical viewing angles and different detection distance requirements for each specific application. This highly functionally integrated module series, in addition to allowing users to develop rapidly their PIR products, also provide a means for more flexible production and inventory management during the production process.
